To make a long story short...My GF lost her job and fell behind on bills...more so the car payment...she fell behind 3 months and now the bank wants to repo her mustang!!!...I really don't want to see her lose it but I don't have nearly enough money to bail her out on this one. She has asked her family and the bank for help but hasn't gotten anywhere with them...so I am asking this...how much trouble can you get in if you hide the car...probally for 2 months or so...that way I can get enough money (while paying my bills also) to help her out and pay the past due payments in full.
Any advise would be great!!!
PS...we are getting hitched in a year and would like to buy a house together but having a repo on her credit will really hurt our chances...Thanx b4 hand for any advise guys!

Hey Brother, Be careful in hiding this "wanted" car from the repo men...if they see the car they're looking for, they do have the right to move your other cars and still take it from you...they will attempt to talk to you, but some do not say a word, afraid of owners trying to shoot them. I would hide the car completely out of sight!! Contact her car company, explain the situation and what you and her plan of attack is, and then hide the car...otherwise, you will face stiff add-on fines to what you owe, the car company will hand her info over to a collection agency, her check writing access will be frozen, it can get nasty brother, just be really cool and in control of the situation, stuff happens, "Call the company, let them know what you plan to do to buy you some time, believe me, they want you to pay, but will be cooler about the whole deal IF you tell them something versus nothing, ok?" If you have that car repo'd, you are screwed for a long time!! Stangboy65
