OK my problem is what to do. I have a 1995 Mustang GT and it is my dream car. I picked it up one day when I was driving around town. It isn't in that great of shape, but it still looks good. A few of my friends have told me that the previous owner rebuilt the engine but it was not balanced right. Others say that it has all the miles it says on it(179,000). I am going to have the engine rebuilt again, so I actually know how many miles it has. I just don't know what to do. My boyfriend is telling me that we are going to have it stroked and bored. We are going to have new everything put in to it. We just don't know what brands to go with. Also we plan on rebuilding the tranny and replacing the gears in the rear end. We don't know what gears to but in the rear. The other thing that is now shot on my car is the suspension. What brand would be the best to get for my car to lower it a little. My car is a daily driver but we do SCCA in it and once we get it rebuilt we are going to go to the drag strip with our friends. So I need suspension that will work for everything! And the same with all the stuff we will need for my car. But my goal for my car is a happy balance of "Show and Go", so if anyone has any suggestions on a body kit for my car, that would help too. Pretty much I need suggestions for anything and everything possible for my car, interior, exterior, engine transmission suspension, audio. Thank you for any help at all it will be greatly appreciated.

depends on what ya gonna do scca?? like road racing? and ya said ya gonna drag race it too? 2 different types of racing so drag racing suspension would kill road racing all together-- have to make a choice there lol-- the motor? a 331 stroker kit would BE NICE their all over ebay and not real high for the power you will gain--- build ya a decent bottom end but ya power is made with ya intake, heads and cam choice just dont go overboard if its gonna be a "daily driver" and a fun car for the weekends

here is what another race had to say as well
Well here is my best advice. For the engine just send tell her to come and see chad here in London. He can get her another new engine or rebuild her old one however she wants. 606-878-1365 Chad Epperson As for the body kits and suspension she needs to buy a copy of Muscle Mustang and look at adds for these companies Cervinins has the best ground effects period.
Maxium Motorsports offers suspensions from full on road race and Drag race to something in between Robert Watts

well i like coil over srings in the front and lowering springs in the back with a bag and motor wise i would stroke it to a 331 but watch your cam dont go to big and use adjustable upper and lower control arms for traction and alot of times when you lower a car the rides get rough I hope this helps some its just hard to explain everything that can be done to a stang on here i would be tpying all nite lol

I know this post is way outta date but any real brand name suspension kit will do, just make the rear end a medium rebound rate and the front end a softer rebound. That's actually how drift racing was first accomplished. The Japanese wanted their own thing and notice a stiff rebound on the rear end created lift which in turn created the wheelie's our cars can do. the stiffer the rear end the more height the car achieves. So if you create a car with a less then medium stiffness in the rear end. And a soft rebound you wont quiet drift. But you will power slide which is easier to recover. Anyone in a stock suspension mustang can power slide just rip on that e-break [remember to keep your thumb on the e-break's button when you go to release and btw.... Do not try at home unless you have an open parking lot atleast 50X50 yards in diameter it does take some getting use to.] But the less then medium rear end and soft front end rebounds assure that you get almost all your horsepower to the rear end which the differential then converts into BHP so you have a "show and go" mustang but you can now drag race her and enter SCCA
